Calling is never comfortable.
It’s not supposed to be.

Your calling will stretch you into places your comfort zone refuses to go.
It will ask for more faith than logic, more courage than certainty, and more surrender than control.

If it feels uncomfortable right now, maybe you’re not failing—
maybe you’re finally stepping into what you were made for.

Need support in discovering your calling? It actually begin with your #GiftAwakening. Connect with me and let’s talk more about this.💚

Are you being emotionally abused at work?
Can a coworker be emotionally abusive?
How much do you know about emotional abuse?

As defined by verywellmind.com, Emotional Abuse involves controlling another person by using emotions to criticize, embarrass, shame, blame, or otherwise manipulate them. The underlying goal of emotional abuse is to control the other person by discrediting, isolating, and silencing them.

Emotional abuse includes non-physical behaviors that are meant to control, isolate, or frighten you.

Emotional abuse in the workplace will impact the bottom line of your small business. Victims of emotional abuse may experience symptoms of stress, including reduced motivation, physical illness, and absenteeism.

If you feel wounded, frustrated, confused, misunderstood, anxious, or worthless any time you interact with your boss or a co-worker, chances are high that you are experiencing emotional abuse.

Here are some of the signs of emotional abuse:

1. Emotionally abusive people set unrealistic expectations. They are making unreasonable demands and criticize you for not completing tasks according to their standards.

2. Emotionally abusive people invalidate you.
They refuse to accept your feelings by trying to define how you should feel.

3. Emotionally abusive people also tend to create chaos. They are starting arguments for the sake of arguing.

One of the important steps that can help you stay focused is keeping your goals in mind. The first step to accomplish this is to ensure you have your goals written down. Every few days you should take some time and go over your goals. This will help keep you on track and keep your goals in mind.

If you need support in building better focus, I invite you to join me in the Retrofit Your Focus Coaching Workshop and learn the 6-Step System to Master Your Focus. Connect with me at +63 917 538 5446 for more information and registration assistance.

Are you ready to try something new?

There’s a good chance that you never considered expressing your emotions and sharing your thoughts with your co-workers or with your boss when you think that there is so much work that has been assigned to you.

I get it. It’s easily something that would never cross your mind or sometimes you are not mindful about it because you are afraid of being judged. But our profession can actually support you in finding your psychologically safe working environment wherein you can express yourself and your real emotions. Today is the first day of the #30DayContentCreation Challenge by Master Coach A. When I watched the video for Day 1, I was reminded of Habit 2 of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

The instruction in the book that made me reflect is this: Imagine you are meeting with all your family members and friends for the funeral of a person you all know…𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮! It’s the day of your funeral and all these people have come to honor your memory. They share with others all the things they want to remember about you.

Asking myself “How do I want to be remembered” is another way of asking, “How do I want to make people feel?”

Well, I want to be remembered as a person who helped people get closer to God; not only that they will know God but I want them to experience God the way I experienced Him

I want to be remembered as a BIG HERO who rose from the challenges of life and saw herself in the eyes of her Creator.

I want to be remembered as a Master Tribe Builder who helped people appreciate life, live in the moment, appreciate themselves, and understand that #SelfCare must be their number one priority.

I want to be remembered as someone who made the Philippines known in appreciation of #MentalSafety and implementing an effective Occupational Safety and Health Program in every workplace not just for compliance but to create a psychologically safe working environment.

And this verse from 𝙼𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚠 𝟸𝟻:𝟸𝟹 is the message that I really want to hear from my Creator:

“𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚍𝚘𝚗𝚎, 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚏𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚊𝚗𝚝; 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝚏𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚊 𝚏𝚎𝚠 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜, 𝙸 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚛𝚞𝚕𝚎𝚛 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜. 𝙴𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚓𝚘𝚢 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝙻𝚘𝚛𝚍.”

How about you? How do you look at yourself? How do you want to be remembered?
