North came in with a squat & deadlift that didn’t feel right. Big shoutout to his coach @sully_83kg for sending him my way. 🤝

Here’s how it works: your coach runs your programming. I find what’s limiting your movement, treat it, and build the warm-up and recovery work around their plan, not instead of it. Same team, same goal: keep you healthy and hitting PRs on the platform.

From the front, North’s feet were turning out and his knees were caving in at the bottom. His ankles were setting the limit and the rest of his body was paying for it.

In one session we:

Assessed his squat from the front and side
Treated it with joint mobilization, soft tissue work and cupping. Built him a warm-up for every squat and deadlift, plus a recovery plan to keep the range

Re-test, same day: feet even, knees tracking over the toes.

He also left with everything in writing: his full movement report, home plan and lift-day cues he can pull up under the bar. His coach gets the same picture, so everyone’s on the same page heading into meet day.

Part 2 is the shoulder. His bar was sitting about 4° low on the right, and we’re on it. Follow so you don’t miss it.

Coaches: if you’ve got a lifter with a meet coming up and something’s off, send them my way. Lifters: message me to book.
