Yesterday marked my last day working in New Mexico. @karalink graduates in a few weeks, and then we’ll move back up to Seattle.

Stoked to join the team at @irg_sportsinstitute in June, working part-time in the clinic and spending the rest of the week devoted to @e3rehab clients, course prep, recording podcasts, and all the other projects we’re working on.

Very much looking forward to being closer to @northcoaststrength @kevin.j.mcnamara @tara_basile , and some other great friends and colleagues in the PNW.

I know phenomenal rehab providers who are doing amazing work within the constraints of an insurance-based clinic.

I know phenomenal rehab providers who are doing amazing work through a cash-based, in-person practice.

I know phenomenal rehab providers who are doing amazing work through a remote/telehealth practice.

I also know plenty of REALLY BAD rehab providers in all of these settings.

Don’t equate cash-based care with “better” care, and don’t equate insurance-based rehab with “worse” care.

(Sorry for the great clinicians I couldn’t include with this 20-person tag limit)

Had in incredibly informative first session with @northcoaststrength today. It was wild to actually feel the discrepancy in my knees, and see how much quad strength you can lose in such a short amount of time. I’m getting surgery in exactly 3 months, time to get hella strong. #skiing #aclrecovery #mtbaker #ski #acltear
