📍Sati Valley, Dong, Anjaw, Arunachal

At first glance, this doesn’t even feel real.

This is Sati Valley in Anjaw district . . .where roads are still under construction and nature still dominates everything around it. ⛰️

The valley runs along the Sati River, which eventually merges into the Lohit River near Dong . . . one of the easternmost inhabited regions of India.

Untouched ridgelines, deep river valleys and silence stretching farther than the roads currently do.

It felt less like visiting a destination…
and more like witnessing a landscape before modern connectivity changes it forever.

And the craziest part?
Most people still don’t even know how to reach this place.

📍Pangsau Pass, Indo 🇮🇳 Myanmar 🇲🇲 Border

At the eastern edge of India lies Pangsau Pass, a mountain pass that once connected armies, traders and civilizations through the legendary Stilwell Road.

This video begins at the iconic “Welcome to India” board, moves through the historic border markets and captures the old Myanmar-side shops that had remained silent for years but are now slowly reopening with the revival of cross-border festival trade and local movement.

During World War II, this route served as one of the most important Allied supply lines. Even today, the air here feels filled with history, stories and forgotten footsteps.

Towards the end, a distant zoom into the mysterious Lake of No Return, a place surrounded by wartime legends where aircraft were believed to vanish into dense clouds and unforgiving terrain. Myth or reality, the mystery still survives in these hills.

Pangsau Pass is not just a border.
It is where geography meets memory. 🌏

In the heart of the “Abode of Clouds,” I didn’t want to stand as a silhouette against the landscape; I wanted to be an echo of it.

I chose this emerald hue not to contrast the hills, but to surrender to them—to weave myself into the lush, rolling greenery until the boundary between the earth and the hem of my dress simply ceased to exist. In the quiet mist of Shillong, you don’t just observe the beauty; you become a part of its breathing, living texture.

There, caught between the ancient pines and the drifting white veil of the horizon, I found myself perfectly lost. Not just amidst the sky, but within it. 💚
