Reverie - Live at @durangosongwritersexpo in Broomfield, CO

Thank you to the team at Durango Songwriters Expo for the opportunity to share this song with these amazing people. It was truly a blessing to be able to.

I flew to CO this weekend to attend a Songwriters Expo to try and improve my craft and make some new music friends. I didn’t know what to expect.

In an industry that I have not often found to be inclusive, uplifting, and warm, @durangosongwritersexpo was a welcomed contrast. The community that @jimattebery has created with Durango is nothing short of extraordinary. I am honored and grateful to have shared the stage and the weekend with these new friends, incredible songwriters, and industry legends 💙🤘

This is a reminder, not the taking of an opportunity. God put this song on my heart and the hearts of the people who helped me write this song for a reason. Times are strange and scary and we need to focus on God and put Him at our center. Not putting our hearts against others and hardening them against each other.

John 13:34 & 35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

God, be the center of our reverie. Be the thing that encompasses our thoughts. Be the thing that surrounds our hearts and minds during these scary times. Lord, be my remedy. Be OUR remedy, God. We need love and forgiveness and peace and mercy, God. Amen.

✨ Durango 24 Dump✨

Oh @durangosongwritersexpo where do I begin?

This community has been such a safe space for me to grow. You’ve given me some of my most precious friendships & most of the biggest moments in my career can be traced back to something set in motion here.

There will never be enough words for my gratitude for the family & inspiration you’ve given.

Until next year🩵

Undeserving - Acoustic Live

This was my first time singing a Christ-based song at this event and really singing an original Christ-based song for the family at durango in Colorado. Thank you Lord 🙏 and thank you @durangosongwritersexpo for the blessing and opportunity to kick off this journey. Much love ❤️
