Leaf-peeping idea for your South Shore fall list 🍂 At Norris Reservation in Norwell, make time for two stops: 🍁 Gordon Pond Trail — follow the yellow markers to the boardwalk and colorful pond views. 🌊 The old boathouse — take the blue trail for a lovely view of the North River, once a major shipbuilding hub. There are several loops, so you can make this a shorter walk or connect trails for more exploring. Snap a photo of the trail map by the parking area before you set out. Good to know: It’s free and open from sunrise to sunset. The lot at 12 Dover Street is small, so consider going earlier on a busy fall day. Which would you visit first: the boardwalk or the boathouse? THE T1D HUDDLE™ IS UNDERWAY – and there is still time to join! Our first gathering of the fall was a huge success. The kids connected, laughed, played, and spent time with others who truly understand what it is like to live with type 1 diabetes. Led by T1D mentor Colin Gerhart, this eight-week youth empowerment series gives kids a place to build friendships, strengthen their confidence, and know they are never alone.
