London Grand Tournament, UKTC [26/27.09.2026]

Where to even begin. Never before have I entered a venue and been so blown away by the sheer volume of hobbyists, gamers, enthusiasts and lore nerds roaming around a single space. Games aside, the organisation, the food and the general vibes of LGT were fantastic and for a first time attendee it went above and beyond my expectations.

Before we get into the congratulations, it was such a delight to get to catch up again with familiar faces from across the UK. My first year in this community as a player has been phenomenal and LGT very much felt like a microcosm of that year - meeting amazing people, rolling dice, thinking deeply about an excellent game and just genuinely feeling like I was part of something bigger.

BUT waxing lyrical aside, some congratulations in order. Once the 7 rounds were done, our very own Sam Tanner managed to walk away with ANOTHER BRIGHTON GOLDEN TICKET having performed out of his mind on Chaos Cults. We're insanely proud of you Sam, you put on a blinder of a performance.

Special mention also to Owen Dougall, who managed to sweep just about every award UKTC has in a single fell swoop - and do it whilst playing Spectre Squad no less! Congratulations there as well.

For most of us in Brighton, there's one tournament left before things settle down pre-worlds, the absolute shark tank that will be Battlegrounds V. Who will walk away with that golden ticket? Only time will tell.

We had a blast at @escapologic searching for a way off of the Evadere the Tempestas trader ship in their IMMATERIUM Warhammer escape room.

We made it out in 38 minutes! If you love Warhammer, or interactive fast paced escape games with plenty of crawling, climbing and manipulating the environment, this is for you!

+++ FENRISIAN VOX-LOG // AFTER-ACTION TRANSMISSION +++
+++ ORIGIN: WOLF SCOUT PACK – STYGIUS KILL-GROUND +++
+++ DESTINATION: WOLF LORD, DUSKWOLVES GREAT COMPANY +++
+++ STATUS: MISSION UPDATE – DEAD SILENCE +++

Wolf Lord, hear the truth of the hunt.

The storm answered our call. Blizzard winds rolled through the ruins of Stygius, thick with ice-ash and the taste of old death. We stalked the tomb approaches under shrouded skies, but the Tempestus Aquilons struck first, disciplined and swift. They flanked through the broken hab-stacks, their hot-shot fire cutting clean paths through the whiteout. Frosteye fell to a precise burst before he could mark the prey, and Skjald was silenced soon after, his runes lost beneath the snow. For a time, the kill-ground belonged to the Guard, and their denial rites scarred the stone.

But the storm deepened, as the Rune Priests foretold.

From the howling blizzard we came—one by one, then all at once. The Aquilons never saw the charge, only shapes in the white and the sound of wolves at their backs. Frost blades bit deep, plasma pistols burned through carapace armour and flesh, and the Guard’s order broke under fang and claw. We hunted them through the ruins, cutting them down and sealing the ground in blood and ice. One by one they fell, their rite ending in silence.

At battle’s end, only their Tempestor yet drew breath. One wound remained to him, bleeding out in the snow as we closed the circle. The tomb remains sealed. Nothing entered. Nothing escaped.

Final tally of the kill-ground stands thus: sixteen to ten, in our favor.

We hold the ground, Wolf Lord. The storm endures.
