"SOULS" no13 last but not least.... 01 - film industry wake up, call me! ;') 02 - i have to thank @hocus.flocus from the bottom of my heart to believe in me from the beginning and finally support me as 1st AC 03 - thank you wonderful @michaelschneider.ac to connect me with Carlo and push me. this is him A-Cam ACing on the 'last shooting day is tie day' on set. 04 - ...this guy for creating the whole project and leading through everything with respect, humbleness and humanity @alexeslam_writerdirector_ 05. ...this guy for pushing through too @norwin.dp 06. ...this guy for trust into the blue, listening even in stressful times and being a motivated guide - Carlo Jelavic 07. ...and of course everyone involved in the project no matter in which role. thank you. I still am proud of what we achieved even in lockdown craziness

"SOULS" no10 flight days. the whole story wraps around a simultaneous plane and car crash.the plane interiors were shot mostly inside an old plane at a really strangley pandemic-deserted airport. lights out, everything closed, almost no staff visible. anyway the flight crew was already scared after @timolischu found me in the cockpit. (1/2/3) the 200 passengers on board couldn't trust my flight suitability, singing in chorus helped a bit to ease their anxiety (4/5) thank god the crash was @pharos_thepostgroup 's job since we forgot the turbines (6/7) nontheless every airline would've taken @carolinobitz and @sarahalisch_steadicam (2nd ACs) with arms wide open. (8) (9) we also spent a few days in @studiobabelsberg for highspeed car accident stuff where plates were needed - plate rig (10)

"SOULS" no9 - @brigittehobmeier acts as young & old Jacob's mother. since the show works on three timelines Carlo and @herrvogel_ created different light worlds to distinguish them from another. some examples here and happy team :) the light rig @herrvogel_ and #carlojelavic came up with for this future birthday scene with @timolischu still sits with me, so simple, so effective and special from the outcome to me. it's an @asteraofficial lightsaber star/circle with a fancy effect programmed in @blackoutlightingconsole by @tintin_light if i remember correctly. ...please correct me if i'm wrong.

"SOULS" no8 -- this graveyard set had half a day of daylight scenes but also a full night. to not spend precious two days there amazing @hannamariaheidrich and I took over the main unit for the day stuff to give Carlo & @alexeslam_writerdirector_ enough night time. we shifted crew members to stay out of overtime. Wolfgang Michael is showing his best here grieving. this of course took equipment logistics to the max, although we scheduled proper equipement handover, it was understandably tough for the crew anyway.... I am SO SO SORRY @carolinobitz we had to go through this. thank you for your unbelievable dedication the whole time from A to Z and back. gave my best with great coffee support - actually the whole camera crew did! - there's a longtime credit involved here to @michael_rathgeber introducing me to the camera truck barista game big time a few years back :)

"SOULS" throwbackkkkk no6 one of our main locations was the infamous Stasi headquarter - DDR ministry of state security - where they hid their "westwaren" love in a secured building with an indoor truck loading dock for incoming goods. It featured a shopping mall, a huge cinema, interrogation rooms - quite impressive and still closed for public afaik. so that was pretty nice to see and fit up to 5 units parallel in there :) The pandemic production struggles have sparked incredible collaboration and fierce determination among us and I think we’ve bonded over the experience, creating a team that supported one another in this weird location and times. Here’s to the resilience of the film industry and the magic that can happen even in the toughest of circumstances!
