The "Sannin No Kamen" Tee is based on the idea of the three masks.. This time the idea is turned around.

The design of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee comes from the thought that people show versions of themselves to different people. The first two layers on the sleeve represent the image. The person we show to the world and the people we care about.

The third layer is the one that people usually keep hidden. This is the part of ourselves that nobody gets to see.. Instead of hiding it the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee puts it right out front. The destroyed and distressed layer becomes the part of the shirt. It shows the things that people usually keep inside.

Everyone has their struggles. Sometimes people hide them. Act like everything is okay. They never let anyone see what is really going on. The "Sannin No Kamen" Tee is about showing those hidden parts of pretending they do not exist.

Design Details

* Sleeves. The second mask of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee:

The first two layers of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee represent the versions of ourselves that we create for everyday life. This is how we present ourselves and protect what is underneath.

* The third mask layer of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee:

The distressed sleeve layer of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee represents the side of ourselves that we usually hide. It is torn, raw and unfinished.. It becomes the most visible part of the design of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee.

* Rib Panel of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee:

The asymmetrical rib insert of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee represents a crack in the surface. It is something that is damaged. Still existing.

* Ribbed Texture of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee:

The fabric texture of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee takes inspiration from muscle fibers. This gives the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee an organic and human feeling.

* Asymmetrical Silhouette of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee:

The uneven hem of the "Sannin No Kamen" Tee represents imbalance. It is the feeling of falling apart while still trying to hold yourself together.
