𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑙𝑢𝑐𝑘 is about getting older, feeling time slip away and trying to keep it all together.
through everyday objects and rituals, the show reflects on the exhaustion of keeping things going, and the possibility of letting go.

For the exhibition A Place Where Questions Outnumber Answers, Luxembourgish artist Eric Mangen presents a new body of work combining abstract painting, ceramics and plant elements. Through these different media, Mangen creates an environment shaped by his sensitivity to landscape, materiality and the living world. Forms encounter and respond to one another according to their own logic, at times creating ambiguities that—as the exhibition’s title suggests—do not seek to provide answers, but instead open a space for questioning and interpretation.

Developed over more than a year and a half of research, a new body of ceramic works extends the principles that characterise Mangen’s painting practice. Here, the artist explores the same relationship with gesture, chance and accident, confronting certain conventions of ceramics with a more intuitive working method. Irregularities, distortions and unforeseen outcomes thus become integral parts of the creative process.

Last day — Rhapsody of the Unseen

Today is the final day of Rhapsody of the Unseen at Nosbaum Reding in Luxembourg.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this exhibition has been seeing how art can open conversations that go beyond the works themselves.

Through the artist talks and the exchanges around the exhibition, many personal experiences that had remained unspoken came to the surface, alongside memories that had been forgotten or left behind.

Perhaps this is one of the important things art can do: create a space where what has remained silent can be shared, questioned, and remembered.

Thank you to everyone who visited and contributed to these conversations.

If you haven’t seen the exhibition yet, today is the last opportunity to visit Rhapsody of the Unseen.
