A week to go deep into classic longboard culture.

Beyond spending hours in the water, this trip is about understanding what you are doing and why.

During the week we will share two longboard theory sessions and conversations about longboard theory: boards, shapes, materials, fins, different setups and how all of these elements can completely change the way you ride a wave.

We will talk about technique, positioning, trimming, footwork and the details behind classic longboarding — taking what we learn outside the water and bringing it back into every session.

if you’re planning a trip to Morocco, make sure Imsouane is on your itinerary. 🌊🇲🇦

This laid back fishing village on Morocco’s Atlantic coast is home to Africa’s longest wave, a world famous right hand point break that draws surfers from all over the world. But you don’t need to surf to fall in love with this place.

Here’s how I’d spend 24 hours in Imsouane:
🌊 Wander through the fishing harbour and watch the boats bring in the day’s catch. 🏄‍♀️ Take a surf lesson or simply watch surfers ride one of the longest waves in the world. ☕ Grab a speciality coffee at @nosnos.imsouane  🐟 Enjoy freshly grilled seafood by the harbour, pick your fish straight from the market and have it cooked to order. @chez_jolo  🌅 End the day with sunset views over the Atlantic at @mubaresto

Where to stay: I stayed at @saltywatertribe and couldn’t recommend it more. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and just a short walk from the beach, making it the perfect base for exploring Imsouane.

Imsouane is one of those places that reminds you travel doesn’t always have to be about seeing more or doing more. Sometimes the most memorable moments come from slowing down, breathing in the salty sea air, and embracing a slower pace of life.

Kilka słów o tym, jak spełnianie marzeń i algorytm instagrama potrafią namieszać w życiu. Będzie długo i trochę jak w filmie.

W styczniu zrealizowałam swój plan na spróbowanie surfingu. Namówiona przez @supjoginka poleciałam do Imsouane z ekipą @pura_yogastudio x @oceankarma.pl

Było wspaniale, ale nieodłącznym elementem wyjazdu były lokalne psy. Już drugiego dnia poznałyśmy suczkę, która ewidentnie karmiła. Chciałyśmy jej pomóc, dość szybko znalazłyśmy miejsce, gdzie miała swoje maluchy. Okazało się, że jeden ze szczeniaków jest bardzo chory. Początkowo tylko je dokarmiałyśmy, ale stan czarnej suni się pogarszał, więc szukałyśmy pomocy. I tak na kawie w @nosnos.imsouane trafiłam na @dogsofimsouane Sofia po krótkiej rozmowie z nami postanowiła pomóc i w ostatni dzień wyjazdu pojechałyśmy po surfie do weterynarza w innym mieście. Monty udało się uratować. Nie mogła wrócić na ulicę, ale Sofia ogarnęła jej tymczas, a później @nomad_tails postanowili ją zaadoptować. Byłam pewna, że to koniec tej historii. No może poza planowaną we współpracy z @morn_org i Karoliną wysyłką paczki potrzebnych rzeczy - jak się myliłam 🫣

Niedługo po powrocie do Polski mój algorytm Instagrama wyświetlał mi wiele kont powiązanych z Marokiem i surfingiem. Tak trafiłam na profil @tomazintia która w tym czasie była w Imsouane. Na jej relacjach zobaczyłam „naszą „ psią rodzinkę. Napisałam do niej i szybko okazało się, że maluchy już wychodzą z bezpiecznego miejsca i są narażone nie tylko na auta, ale i inne psy i ludzi. Wtedy zaczęłam też obserwować @myimsouane.dogsandcats.spots która stworzyła im safe spot, gdzie mogły się schować.

Następnie dotarła do mnie informacja, że maluchy zaatakowała parwowiroza, którą dzięki interwencji przeżyła Belly - łaciata suczka, która od początku była z miotu najsilniejsza. Później zobaczyłam stories @tiarah_m która adoptowała Monty, że Belly została pogryziona przez psa… nie mogła wrócić na ulicę… no i tu pojawiła się pierwsza myśl, która dzięki entuzjazmowi Karoliny 🫣zaczęła zamieniać się w rzeczywistość.
