JAIL/HOSTAGE DRIBBLE 1v1 🔒🏀

Learn how to keep the defender on your hip and maintain the advantage. Initiate contact with your hip/body, protect the ball, stay low, keep your feet active, and control the defender’s path.

⏱️ RULES: Jail/hostage your defender for 3–5 seconds. After 3 seconds, it’s LIVE!
• If the defender gets back in front → regain the advantage before you score.
• If you still have them jailed → keep the advantage and go finish it.

The goal isn’t just to beat your defender, it’s learning how to KEEP THEM BEAT. 🔒😤
Create the advantage. Maintain the advantage. Finish the advantage.

Live 3 v 3 Spain Action Reads. In this ©️ession we worked on Spain Action, but the action wasn’t the lesson. The decisions were.

Every rep was live. Every read had consequences. Every possession demanded communication, pace, timing, and the ability to solve problems under pressure. No scripted answers. No shortcuts. Just basketball.

When defenders switch, hedge, trap, or stay home, can you recognize it? Can you make the right read in real time? That’s what separates good players from elite ones.

Pressure doesn’t build IQ it simply exposes it. That’s why we train in chaos, embrace mistakes, and demand growth. We don’t chase highlights. We chase habits that win games.

Don’t just know the play become the player who can make every read.

Everything in the Lab is Earned. Never Given. Most of Our Summer Work Has Been Heavy On Making Reads And Decisions In Any Type of Scenario, Action, whether it’s on offense or defense , with or without the ball.

📍Bayahíbe, Dominican Republic.

No resorts. No wait staff. Just the way we like it. Experienced this beach town on foot for the first part of our trip, taking advantage of the amazing beaches, beautiful locals, awesome colmados, fresh seafood, and picturesque Isla Saona.
