July is here. Canā€™t say Iā€™m feeling like I got a proper reset yet, but I am excited it means a year+ worth of work is leaving many of the factories we work with over multiple brands and categories. Really excited to get @thirtytwo first season of snowboards into retail and see the response. Weā€™ve already wrapped up season 2 so fingers crossed our direction to zig when others zag paid off. Up to the snow gods nowā€¦and peopleā€™s discretionary income. šŸ¤

RIDE THE TIGER ā€¢ West Coast Pils ā€¢ 5.5% This wild brew was created in collaboration with Takuya from Japanā€™s @choryo_craftbeer. Ride the Tiger is a West Coast Pilsner thatā€™s clean and crisp, yet hugely citrusy and hop-forward. We added a blend of Koji rice, which are traditional sake ingredients. White Koji provides natural acid for balance, while the yellow Koji contributes vibrant, fruity aromatics. Later we added grapefruit to complement the citrus dry-hop character of the Citra, Simcoe, and Cryo Chinook hops. This is a really fun beer that straddles the line between pilsner and west coast IPA, and we had an awesome time brewing with Takuya. Story Time// The children are the futureā€¦Art is the guide for a better world// PT.1 About a year ago @vocalcharismatics reached out and asked me if I would curate the next edition of Lot Miraclesā€¦a community zine that I was very familiar with. I was honored to be asked, knowing his background of good will and always spreading positivity throughout this community. This would be a group effort with four of us getting this moving and adding my friends @felixheads and @the.k.brand onto this team. We wanted to donate the profits from the sale of this zine to the best possible cause we could think ofā€¦to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. We chose @young_audiences for this donation as it best fit our idea. I reached out to my friends here, most I have known for years and the team also jumped in to help pull some amazing artists for this project. Everyone said yesā€¦and everyone was down to help! Sometimes the world is a little dark and itā€™s so nice to shed a little bit of lightā€¦the kids deserve a brighter tomorrow. Fall wrap up from around the shop. Shout out to the folks who show up and buy a tee or a cat fat sticker. These seemingly anonymous transactions are the blood cells that keep the dream alive. Hopefully next year weā€™ll get to know eachother a little better. Thatā€™s my favorite part. Peeling back the onion skin. Finding out you made the Cypress Hill logo or starred in the Pulp Babies video. All these seemingly normal people. Are all doing cool stuff. Whatā€™s seen here are more predictable characters and moments. Folks weā€™ve known and donā€™t want to ever miss. Looking through these reminds me that there are some amazing characters, that due to lack of film at hand, engrossed in conversation etc. are not featured. I promise to take more pics. Now!
