Meet @guyidan6 ✨

Yidan Gu is a London-based fashion designer whose practise bridges contemporary fashion and traditional tailoring. Through garment making, material exploitation, and a focus on construction, her work investigates the dialogue between body, clothing and craft. She seeks to create pieces that are both functional and emotionally resonant.

Yidan Gu studied at Central Saint Martins, completing the Graduate Diploma in Fashion, before graduating from the MA Menswear programme at the Royal College of Art in London. Alongside her design practise, she has developed a strong interest in tailoring and garment construction. She is currently undertaking an internship at Welsh & Jefferies on Saville Row, where she continues to deepen her understanding of bespoke craftsmanship and traditional tailoring techniques.
