I love this damn festival. I love our volunteers. I love our team. I love that I get to work with my friends. I love working harm reduction. I love the entire Griz team for putting so much faith in @izzy.offline, @the_joshfather, @gregular_guy_ny and I to carry out what was one of the greatest harm reduction implementations I’ve ever seen.

July 2025, I got a cold email from GRiZ’s management team. “We admire the work Beyond Dope is doing to challenge stigma and advance community-based harm reduction, and we’d love to explore how we might collaborate.” After a few months of planning, we were suddenly at Seven Stars with our modest team of 23, colocated with @harmonyproject.griz . My team that year was nearly entirely harm redux supervisors and leads, with a few eager newbies, nearly all working as volunteers. They absolutely crushed it.

We entwined our program with Harmony Project, each successive GRiZ event bringing something new to our now fully collaborative effort in patron safety and experience. Our fully joint team this year was over 90 staff and volunteers operating both critical and acute care sanctuary spaces, emergency dispatch, and deployed field teams. We were even able to coordinate a crisis counselor for a few patrons in need of more serious interventions. I was afforded the opportunity to do a Narcan training for 60+ festival department heads to the praises of the medical director and our team received a full standing ovation for our work and collaboration with medical, security, ADA, and operations. “Grateful” feels like an egregious understatement regarding the way I feel.

Thank you Griz for setting the gold standard in what community and harm reduction looks like. Thank you for trusting our team to carry out that vision. And thank you for making our dreams a reality.

Man… still riding those WAVs from our 4th of July Celebration! Thank you so much to everyone for coming out. Big ups to @citrusbrosshaveice for hosting our day party and slinging the shaved ice for the people! With that, it was a blast being on the rooftop for a second set of fireworks with you all! Seeing all of you show out for a night filled with friends and fun means that bay.wav is doing something right. And for that we just wanted to say that we appreciate each and every one of you!! The WAVs aren’t stopping anytime soon, so stay tuned for the next session.

Another WAV is here! So excited to announce our July 4th Bay.wav Block Party! We’ve got a lineup stacked with some good homies bringing bangin chunes to celebrate the weekend! Come early for our day party, theres gonna be some free tunes, free food, and free vibes :) we will have a short intermission to watch the fireworks, and then we will be gettin right back to the dancefloor on the Met rooftop later in the night! As always, there is no cover! Come early stay late, looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Went to Costa Rica to get lost in the jungle but found so much more. Extremely grateful for working Envision, making new friends, exploring new things, great opportunities and mostly patience, humanity and love. Be the best version of yourself every day.

It's only March and I've been to Costa Rica twice this year. What is my life???

I am unbelievably grateful to be involved with @theremedy.ps. A literal dream team. I love you dogs so much!! 🐾 🥰 I love giving back to this community that has given so much to me. This work is so rewarding. I really believe we are a force against evil in this world.

On top of all that I got to spend days barefoot in the jungle, dancing like a feral creature to Latino house music, fresh fruit juice dripping down my chin, laughing and celebrating life with the most beautiful and incredible people.

Costa Rica - Envision 2026 ☀️🪂🦜

Purpose.

Having the opportunity to work with @theremedy.ps offering peer support to festival patrons was an emobodiment of living with purpose for me. Helping people, building everlasting friendships and memories that I will hold near and dear to me for the rest of my life.

I came to Costa Rica with no expections other than embrace everything that came my way and respond with my truest self. I realized I’m so much more powerful than I ever thought I was, and It was all due to the hard determination and work I’ve done to get myself there.

To all the amazing human beings I worked with, who have now come to be my dear friends, I love you, we live through purpose and it truly heals me and fills me with so much hope and joy for the world.

Hug your homies extra close. Music brings us together, community and service are our purpose 🫶

Can’t make my 2025 recap till I post the recap for the last festival I got to go to 😅😂

@sevenstarsfest was truly a great experience as I got to help @livebeyonddope with harm reduction. 😤

I’ve always been wanting to get this experience under my belt and it was truly something I would recommend everyone trying once! Knowing how to keep people safe and what to do in bad situations can go a long a way and save lives! 😇

Thank you @griz and everyone who made this festival come to life. Seeing all the DMV homies being apart of this in so many ways was a full circle moment for many and a big look into the future on what’s to come for us. So many more memories are to come from this place, I can’t wait to be back! 🫡

Special s/o to @notbadsoup_ and @michellielli for bringing me on to help and trusting me to be apart of the team! They have done so much for this music scene and are a big inspiration to me and others! Thanks for everything yall have done! ❤️‍🔥🙌🏼
