One of my longest journeys

It wasn’t an easy road. There were days filled with excitement, days full of doubts, and days I questioned whether I could really do it. Thank you to my family for always believing in me, to my friends for standing beside me through every step, and to my advisor for guiding me.

And now, I want to thank some very special people who made this journey possible. P’ @nuttholomew , for producing every song and understanding my vision so perfectly; @phnphm , for carrying this project with me and always having my back; @notginoggx , for being an incredible DOP and helping me through more moments than you know; @about_yves , my art director, who never once complained and poured so much love into every prop; N’ @kanidchamellia , my AD1, for always being prepared, helping with absolutely everything, and giving every task your whole heart; P’ @eclairrrrrr my AD2, for becoming my safe place on set always checking in, supporting me, and making sure I was okay; P’ @bk.yuuki , for patiently editing this film through every revision until it finally felt right; and P’ @pradh___ , for the beautiful sound design and for every opinion, suggestion, and conversation that helped shape this film. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team, and I’ll always be grateful for every single one of you.

Finally, to our two incredible actors, thank you for trusting this project and for teaching me so much not just about filmmaking, but about people, patience, and collaboration.

As my first time directing a project of this scale, I know there are countless things I’ll keep learning. But this experience, these people, and these 11 months will stay with me forever.

TASTE OF YOU - @sittpainghtet_ss (set 2)
.
One of my most favorite things about this project is the mixture of B&W and colour ⚫️⚪️. This time we used B&W and 4:3 ratio to differentiate reality and dream sequences which in my opinion was very simple but very effective. Me and my gaffer @tap.lightman tried lighting the sequence with old Hollywood film noir techniques, playing with shadow punch in a lot of haze and low key lighting. Funny thing was the B&W Luts I prep for this shoot didn’t worked that well so I was kinda nailing the exposure a lil bit by eye and ended up underexposing a lil bit 🤣

Personally, I’m extremely happy to have a chance to work with Sam again after we worked on a few projects back in 2023. Massive thank you to @iimmajiji for co-directing with me and turned make this MV 10 times better than what I imagined 🙏🙇‍♂️Also a big fucking thank you to all the crews y’all are on fire 🔥
