Eliot from my new project Table to table.

Table to table transforms the cafe into a stage of quiet drama through moving image, photography and spoken word.

Between the hiss of steam and the scrape of cutlery, strangers arrive and depart, leaving behind fragments of stories in the air. Cups cool, breakfasts linger, and conversations rise and fall like passing weather.

Greasy tables and chipped mugs frame these fleeting encounters, where glances meet, words stumble, and lives momentarily intertwine. In the ordinary rhythm of service and pause, the cafe reveals itself as theatre — a place where the everyday performs its own kind of poetry.

Thanks to everyone involved for playing their part and bringing this together.

As Makers Designers, Designers Makers, we take ownership of the entire creative process; our team see our furniture all the way through from conception to completion in our light-filled London workshop. This gives us all an intuitive understanding of each stage of the process, and the masterful skills required to bring our collective vision to life.

The seamless synergy between designer’s eye and maker’s hand is what truly sets us apart. Our team bring decades of experience to our craft, imbuing our furniture with a collaborative skill and passion of which we are particularly proud. Our craftspeople spend their lifetimes refining their skills so that, in turn, our furniture will last lifetimes to come.

We do it responsibly. We do it well. And we do it by hand.

We are thrilled to reveal the ‘making of’ our recent sculptures, specially designed for @hm’s flagship store in Barcelona.

From conceptualising the idea and giving each sculpture its unique identity, to crafting these pieces from the ground up by incorporating mesmerising reflective shards and bespoke electronics - the journey of bringing these extraordinary sculptures to life has been a wonderful experience.
