Hey it’s your boy eko aka brodo baggins. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who fucks with @makesick666 first and foremost 🫶 This is my lil debut release celebration recap for the month of September. I’ve been writing songs with my make sick fam Mike, Sasha, Le’lani, and Aaron since last year. We recorded this EP back in February, we worked hard and we’re all proud of it. So if you haven’t checked it out, hit the link in my bio :) Oh yeah and all the physical copies, CDs, Tapes, AND 7”Vinyls are ready to pick up tomorrow from @notimerecordsoc 🙏! 🐀 Album cover arts by sickest @tyakka3 🥊 I’ll be taking orders from yall that means ;) so keep them eyes peeled for that bandcamp friday this week (literally in 24hrs). Also i wanna shoutout to my boy @sashaguleffthaaccount and @bea_touring for organizing our record release show aand for cleaning up an unexpected roof collapse mess (1 day out of the whole summer it rains lol) the day of the show alongside our studio fam @yungatita @pistachiodemon @drl94 <3 🎥 I can’t forget to thank the big homie @gunworld_love for documenting all our shows❤️‍🔥 Big thanks to @wazoodotcom @se_vende_luvs_u for celebrating with us 🥳 love ya guys stay killing Another shoutout to @lorraineourmother with @springbreeding tour. Was such a dope bill, thanks for letting us hop on last minute🫰

Last Hope Of Life - Premature Decomposition Tom from Haggus and his gurgling growling side project. Very heavy and stinky/nasty sort of powerful grind. “Crack Rock Steady”. SCALP - Domestic Extremity I featured this tape before and just love this release. A breath of fresh air when it comes to heavy ass music. Full of power and just an unrelenting album in the best way. From Shattered Faith - 1998-1999 RAW power-violence emo from the good times. This band was based out of Kalamazoo, MI and recently released this sweltering collection of tracks. Don’t sleep on this release, and it’s honestly a collector level release as far as packaging goes. Very cool little slice of Midwest emo history. Also a great time to shout out and mention this post and these releases are made possible by @notimerecordsoc . Straight up 🐐 level status.

Dropping alongside our Fall Batch is 150+ new distro titles from a slew of different labels and featuring many friends of the label/Chico alumni. Got a nice mix of essentials and more underground stuff here spanning the extreme music spectrum. This is something that I’ve been working on since May, with the intention of having this go live over the Summer before personal life stuff got in the way. Expanding the distro has been the primary goal for 2026, I always loved being able to snag a little bit of everything in one go from other labels and want that to be an integral part of Chico moving forward. All of this plus the 10 new Chico titles and BBV leftovers will be available to the general public Friday 9/25 @ 1pm ET, with mailing list subscribers getting first dibs at a random date/time the week of the drop. Sign up at the usual spot to stay in the know.
