I worked hard for this one. This hits different on so many levels. Where do I startโ€ฆI would say thisโ€ฆ God removed certain ppl out my life and gave me a snare drum, I never looked back since.. Iโ€™m beyond grateful to live my dreams and play for superstars we know and cherish, but to make my own name though, to have my own music, my own showโ€ฆ it feels great. Iโ€™ve showed vulnerability by busking. Got bullied because to some itโ€™s HOMELESS behavior, cops harassing me telling me I canโ€™t drum and make my money, or getting into actually fight from the Muslim in times sq with the 36o. Cameras because I got the the spot firstโ€ฆ ( got it on camera ) Im beyond grateful for @coachtybrownbk @oh_g_harv for never giving any handouts. Having us watch tv haha.( horrible) I would get messages never to give up through random ppl while busking or just my day to day and my students. From getting bullied online for playing with my right hand having to learn everything on the left.. which led me to my own style . Djin while drumming at the same time in h&m Times Square then getting fired because it became a party, and they wouldnโ€™t let me grow to dj h&m fashion show so I started drumming in front of the store. NEVER WENT BACK TO A JOB . 8 years ago Itโ€™s hard to depend on artist as bad as I may want to tour consistently and be known for drumming for them like my hero Aaron spears to usherโ€ฆ (ultimate dream) But since god gave me a snare drum.. I will say. My voice is amplified. I donโ€™t depend on nobody. I can literally go outside anytime of the day anywhere around the world and make a dollar without having to do anything illegal , or harmful. Iโ€™m grateful I can relate to so many around the world and communicate through my instrument. Thank you @hookartsmedia I will singing autographs and selling some snare drums I hand made at battle of the bands. I will also be busking in front before my performance.. so come and shed with me. Letโ€™s make some videos and contribute to a great cause. I will be bringing some special friends with me. See you there!!! USED TO BE IN THE AUDIENCE NOW IM ON STAGE.
