Birthday Sprinkle 🎂✨

I finally got some pictures in front of the castle on my birthday! It's been so many years, that I don't even know the last time I was able to do it because of the rain!

Breakfast at 'Ohana, wandering over to the Island Tower, back to the trailer to wait out the rain, then into Magic Kingdom! It went by too quickly, but it was a good day!

A salute to all attractions, but mostly Muppet*Vision 3D

I’m so grateful that we got a chance to watch it one last time yesterday with a packed theater. It was heartwarming seeing everyone in their Muppets gear ready to wish farewell to a timeless classic. I understand times change and kids these days may not know Kermit the Frog, but I’m sad that we are losing the entirety of muppet courtyard with all of its splendor. I’m sad we’re losing a glorious 3 hour finale. I’m sad we’re losing Jim Henson’s final project.

Muppet Vision wasn’t a thrill ride, it wasn’t the newest IP, but it was fun and air-conditioned and accessible for most. It was silly and heart-warming and I loved it. Hell, I got a Sam Eagle tattoo based off of one of the lines. A salute to all genders….

In summation, I really hope we get a muppet resurgence for the new generations; the world needs more whimsy, and I think Kermit could help.

I know the festival is pretty much over but here’s everything we ate at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival for 2025. Unfortunately we only got down to Disney World one time instead of the normal two times for this festival and it was blazing hot while we were down there so we didn’t try as much as we wanted to. I don’t know about you but my appetite is next to zero when it’s too hot out.

Always love my cheesecake and Frushi though they both have changed over the years I still am obsessed.

I was really disappointed with the Mexico booth this year as one item had shellfish and the other had peanuts and I can’t have either

Peter loved the oysters but was only so-so with the ceviche

I will eat a million of the goat cheese croissants from France and while the gnocchi looked like just slop on a plate it was really good

The Princess 10K this year was amazing and I PRd in fun! The weather was perfect, the course was great, and the characters were wonderful 🏃🏻‍♀️ I managed to stop for 6 characters, including lines that were almost 20 minutes long, and still finished with time to spare!

I’ve never really dressed up before but I decided to do a take on Aurora this time (I went with a make it pink, make it blue, make it… purple? Bi flag combo) and I felt very cute even while bright red and sweating 🥵

I still would not call myself a runner, but this is my 5th 10K and 6th RunDisney race - and I’m training for the full marathon next year 😅 If you asked me a few years ago I would have said if I’m running you should run too because something is chasing me - and here I am getting up at 2 AM for fun!

While I was running the 10K this morning I ran past the rainbows in the center of Epcot intermixed with some topiaries that are already up - the changeover to Flower and Garden has begun 🌸🌻🌷
