Upcoming Exhibition Saehan Parc @saehan_parc : Ooo0ohae 15 Aug – 1 Nov 2026 Opening: Saturday, 15 Aug, 15:00 “Ooo0ohae” means “misunderstanding” in Korean. Saehan Parc’s drawings often begin with a single line, a circle, or a slight displacement. Rather than working from a fully prepared sketch, she allows each image to grow through an ongoing process of drawing, revising, and responding. Using French curves, ellipse templates, and technical pens, she brings geometric precision together with hesitation, deviation, and chance. Having lived abroad for many years, Parc has become attentive to the gaps between people, between language and emotion, and between individuals and their surroundings—things that can never be fully understood or accurately communicated. Describing herself as a “collector of misunderstandings,” she allows these discrepancies to remain within her images. Their blurred, unfinished, and ambiguous areas become spaces in which understanding, imagination, and freedom can continue to unfold. Playfulness and lightness in Parc’s work do not signify an escape from reality. Instead, they offer a way of engaging with it—with curiosity, humour, and openness. In her images, everything retains the possibility of becoming something else. Even when misunderstandings persist, that is perfectly alright. 📖 Saehan Parc: Ooo0ohae 15 Aug – 1 Nov 2026 Open 12:00–19:00 Closed on Mondays Opening Saturday, 15 Aug, 15:00 cuspdot 卡斯普多特 2F, No. 151-2 Litaizu Wan Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, China 📖 Curated and coordinated by Ge Ruijing and Huang Maobing Visual design: Gao Xiaoyuan (Not Your Type Foundry @notyourtypefoundry @sdfggvfvj ) Interns & Volunteers — Space Support: Lou Jingyi, Liu Zhequan Interns & Volunteers — Operations & Support: Zhang Jingjing, Wu Baoyi, Ni Wuhan, Zhang Yixin, Chen Yihe, Li Wanyang, Shen Xinyuan Special thanks: Yiwen, Jinhui, Auntie Haiyan, Master Shan Hongfeng, Lanlan, Zhu Mengqi, Qinhan #SaehanParc #Ooo0ohae #cuspdot

Within this prolonged isolation, marsupials and monotremes evolved independently, largely without competition from placental mammals. This process gave rise to the distinctive ecosystems of Australia.

Pre-order your copy before April and help us bring these parallelepipeds to life! ➰📕 Delivery in May 2026. 🔠+🟢+🟣=🔥 “Velvetyne Saved My Life”, a bilingual monograph (FR/EN) dedicated to the renowned Velvetyne collective, which has been distributing libre fonts since 2011. Velvetyne Saved My Life Libre Fonts for Everyone Since 2011 Typographie libre pour tous·tes depuis 2011 Since 2011, the Velvetyne collective has been dedicated to creating and distributing typefaces under open-source licenses. Its members advocate and promote an uninhibited typographic practice, guided by political principles and aesthetic risk-taking. This monograph celebrates a generous collective creation—pioneering and recognized on the international scene—that continually questions and reinvents itself. Velvetyne Saved My Life reveals the distinctive workings of this unconventional structure within the contemporary type foundry landscape, its commitment to free-culture and open-source principles, its singular editorial policy, and its pedagogical practice. The book is structured around a polyphonic interview conducted by Sandra Chamaret with the members of the collective, a series of in-depth articles on emblematic typefaces from the foundry, as well as an exhaustive catalogue of the more than 70 fonts published by nearly as many international authors. Halfway between text and typographic specimen, this book is both a story to read and a manifesto to see. @Velvetyne_type_foundry Eds.: Sandra Chamaret, @olivier_tramber Design: @lucas.bihan Printing: @mediagraphicrennes 304 pages, 15 × 24 cm Project history In 2020, –zeug and Velvetyne embarked on a monograph project to mark the collective's 10th anniversary. Sandra Chamaret, conducted interviews with the members of the collective.  Sandra Chamaret took over as director of @esac_cambrai in 2021. Her agenda and schedule changed radically. Nevertheless, she finalised the editing of the interviews. In 2024, Sandra was preparing to end –zeug. She proposed that Surfaces Utiles carry out the project and bring a fresh perspective to this long-term publishing venture.

We recently made this publication ‘Kunst maakt ruimte’ for the art collection of the Rijksoverheid. The collection exists for 10 years and is installed over all Rijksoverheid buildings in the Netherlands. The publication celebrates the collection and highlights a selection of the artists and designers. It can be folded out twice, which leads to different page/image combinations. Typeface Nono by @notyourtypefoundry, lithography by @marcgijzen. Many thanks to the Rijksoverheid Art Department!
