THE WINNERS OF RE/STRICT 2026 FIRST EVER AWARDS ARE……

Filthiest Feature

Slutty Guns and Dirty Boots

For its incredible representation of queer sex and intimacy. We loved the cinematography, the set design and costumes, all of the acting and direction. Overall this year out of the 76 submissions and the 22 selections, Slutty Guns and Dirty Boots was selected as the sexiest film of the year!

Thank you to everyone involved making this incredible film!

THE WINNERS OF RE/STRICT 2026 FIRST EVER AWARDS ARE……

The Safeword Award

SOMA

For its excellent portrayal of negotiation and consent. We think this is such an important aspect of storytelling that’s rarely portrayed well on film, let alone given time to breathe and get explored dynamically throughout the film. We applaud this work for featuring such richness on film.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this important film!

THE WINNERS OF RE/STRICT 2026 FIRST EVER AWARDS ARE……

The “Am I Horny or Uncomfortable?” Award, sponsored by occult 83!

Blue Ball

For its excellent use of humor and sonic the hedgehog story telling. We loved the reality depicted of exploring pleasure as a couple, and were delighted with its use of music throughout. Congrats!

Thank you to everyone involved in making this film, we need queer joy and humor now more than ever!!!

Best in Show

Y2KAGE

For its incredible set design, imaginative story telling, and exhibition of pleasure. This is exactly the type of film we dreamed of getting submitted when we started this festival.

GOLDEN MIRROR (BE, 2026, 17'54) by Nicky L. Lapierre and Nour Beetch - Golden Mirror plunges into the finale of an extreme reality TV show. Couenne, a drag queen in free fall, and Colette, a vegan influencer on the brink of collapse, face each other after weeks of exposure and humiliation. Under the gaze of the production and a complicit audience, vulnerability becomes a cruel game. And yet, as violence feeds the ratings, who truly wins?

2026 RE/STRICT SELECTION:

Slutty Guns & Dirty Boots
Directors: Mona Servo et Nour Beetch, Cast : Yvelizra, Celio, Nova Lov, DOP : Nicky Lapierre, Technic : Gaël et Swan Bitume

Two lovers, one road, no way back.
Looking for the dyke arm wrestling contest.
On the run for the time of their lives.
Soon, they’ll cross paths with a fugitive hitchhiker, a name whispered like a curse… the Leather Fury.

About the film:
Slutty Guns & Dirty Boots was born from a conversation between friends about genre cinema, lesbian westerns, cowboy mythology and the desire to create our own outlaw legends. The Camargue became the obvious setting: a landscape that is the birthplace of some of the people involved in the film, and a place whose stories, landscapes and social realities are deeply woven into their lives. Shooting there became a way of reclaiming and reimagining this territory through a queer lens.
Made with very little money but a lot of love, the film reclaims the western, replacing cowboys and conquest narratives with outlaw dykes, sex workers, lovers and outsiders. Shot collectively between the Camargue, Brussels, Paris and Marseille, the film blurs the boundaries between fiction and lived experience, turning the landscape into a queer, camp and unruly frontier.

This is a film not to be missed, we cannot wait to show you! October 3rd, Planet Ant Theatre, tickets in bio.

💀 BE VERY AFRAID 💀

Nine shorts. One warning label.

A killer cherub, a drag queen reality-show showdown, a roommate with a taste for pretty boys, a necrophiliac's ex coming back with all her memories and nothing less than the most powerful witches on earth gathering against interplanetary forces — and that's just the appetizer...

This block definitely doesn't ease you in.

📍 la lumière collective (7080 Rue Alexandra, Montréal, QC) · October 17, 3:30 - 5:00 PM (Doors at: 3:13 PM)

💀 AIE BEAUCOUP PEUR 💀

The people asked and @hotspot_theshow shall provide.

The first show was definitely a night for the archives but babes, this is the beginning of a TRANSformation made of ripped tank tops and jockstraps. The vision of an intimacy where we allow ourselves to desire and let go.

And wellll you’re some lucky lucky babes cause we’re coming back with some guest performances on the 25th SEPTEMBER - 8 PM at @grandscarmes

You know the drill. Tips & I@p dances. Hot transmascs coming close (consensually).

Pictures of my dreams by @nour_beetch @nicky_lapierre ✨🩷
