Have you heard of Agama Tirta?

Often used to describe the Balinese Hindu tradition, Agama Tirta means “religion of holy water”.

Water plays an important role in Balinese spiritual life, from purification rituals at temple springs to ceremonies and offerings.

It’s also deeply connected to the land, through the rivers and irrigation channels that sustain Bali’s rice fields.
