It might look like it’s my birthday today, but honestly, it kind of is because my girl is a year older, and I get to celebrate her.

Waliyah is such an amazing friend and sister. So selfless, thoughtful, intentional, all the good things honestly. But more importantly, even in not-so-good times, she has been a real one.

I pray this new year exceeds all your expectations. And I hope today reminds you how loved you truly are, because you really are. After all the planning, I’m just glad it turned out exactly how you wanted and even more.

Cheers to many more celebrations together. Happy birthday, my darling Abike @handujones , you already know how I feel about you ❤️🔐

VULNERABLE POST 💔

Hi everyone, as fashion designers, we often face behind-the-scenes challenges that test our resilience. Recently, one of my staff misheard an instruction, costing us time, energy, and money. We had to scramble for last-minute solutions to deliver the style you see here.

We’re sharing this to acknowledge the hard work that goes into creating your favorite looks and to apologize for any inconvenience. @nowyourmide_

How do you, fellow designers and tailors, handle staff mistakes and unexpected setbacks? Share your experiences!

We’re committed to handling our end with professionalism and efficiency.
