Dear Fozzie,
Mock Trial is like an annoying brother. You feel like it takes up everything and your whole life. At some days it seems like the worst part of your day until the year is over and you realize you wouldn’t rather have spent every second of your free time with anyone else. If nothing else in my life is stable, I always had you guys to fall back on. You guys grew not only my love and skill in mock trial but you guys grew me and a human and staying up to 2 am for amazing conversations are memories that stick with your soul forever.

To Jacob,
Even though we bully you, you are an amazing captain and an even better friend. You taught me so much and i would not rather compete under anyone else. No matter what you do in life you will succeed. Also let’s hit social bites later.

This weekend, UA Mock Trial held its 10th annual Crimson Classic Tournament! We hosted 36 teams from across the southeast here in Tuscaloosa on the UA campus.

Two UA teams competed this weekend: Team Fozzie and Team Kermit. The two teams earned four individual awards—congrats to Nick Massey, Ariana Peralta, and Cameron Norton for their attorney awards and to Nolan Adam for his witness award!!

And of course, a huge thank you to those who helped run the tournament, especially our Tournament Director Taryn Campbell and Assistant Tournament Directors Sam Sellers and Ariana Peralta!!

Congrats to everyone who competed this weekend, it was our pleasure to host and we hope to see you all again next year :)
