PRESENTATIONS EVOLVE AS THE PHYSIQUE IMPROVES. @ladydoses was one of my first posing clients, and we’ve been working together for three years. She started as a True Novice athlete with limited mobility and fluidity. Since then, we’ve steadily built her fundamentals, movement, and flow and her presentation has grown right alongside her physique. As an athlete advances, the routine has to evolve too. The presentation that worked as a True Novice may not show the same level of polish when you’re competing on a national stage and pursuing a Pro card. In yesterday’s session, we focused on her transition into the back pose. The rest of Amber’s presentation has beautiful flow, but THIS transition felt heavier and less connected. We traced it back to how she was shifting her weight from one foot to the other. The goal is to teach her to suspend and transfer her weight through the movement so the step feels light and seamless. That means asking the right questions: Where is your weight? How are you distributing it? What does the movement feel like? Small adjustments can bring the whole presentation into harmony and keep it growing with the athlete.✨ ✨Confidence By Design✨™️ Contact or DM kms.fitness5280@gmail.com @kmsfitnessllc 🔸IFBB | NPC BOUTIQUE CONTEST PREP 🔸Private NPC | IFBB POSING FITMODEL | BIKINI | FIGURE | WELLNESS 🔸Corrective/Aesthetic posing 🔸Specializing in Presentations 🔸HAIROGRAPHY 🔸🌏Virtual Posing 🔸🌏Online coaching #posingcoach#IFBB#NPC#prepcoach#online

WHAT IF THE MISSING PIECE WASN’T MUSCLE… BUT MOBILITY? Mobility matters. And these comparisons are a perfect example of WHY. SWIPE LEFT TO SEE PROGRESS..👈 NPC Figure athlete @danyatumia has been working through significant limitations in her thoracic and lumbar mobility. Recognizing how these restrictions were affecting her ability to fully present her physique, I referred her to a mobility coach to address them. And I couldn’t be more pleased with her progress! And with a solid growth phase ahead of her we will continue to see mobility improve! Look at the difference! Her chest is more elevated, her upper torso is opening beautifully, and she’s creating a much stronger presentation through her chest and shoulders rather than allowing her upper body to collapse forward. These improvements are allowing her to access positions that were previously difficult to achieve and showcase her physique with greater dimension. This is exactly why I place so much importance on mobility in posing. Sometimes the limitation isn’t the physique itself. It’s the body’s ability to move into the positions needed to display it. ✨Confidence By Design✨™️ Contact or DM kms.fitness5280@gmail.com @kmsfitnessllc 🔸IFBB | NPC BOUTIQUE CONTEST PREP 🔸Private NPC | IFBB POSING FITMODEL | BIKINI | FIGURE | WELLNESS 🔸Corrective/Aesthetic posing 🔸Specializing in Presentations 🔸HAIROGRAPHY 🔸🌏Virtual Posing 🔸🌏Online coaching #posingcoach#IFBB#NPC#prepcoach#online

FIT MODEL Tuesday with NPC athlete @leahwesty. PRESENTATION REFINEMENT is knowing exactly what deserves to stay. Keep the good. Cut the noise. Build something better. If it’s strong, we keep it and refine it. If it’s weak, I keep what works and scrap what doesn’t. And if it’s completely off? We rebuild it with stronger, more intentional movement. In Leah’s case, the scaffolding of the presentation was already there but her transitions had gone a little rogue. ENTER: a new transition. We kept the body movement that already worked, then created a unique entrance into her back pose that stayed true to the original presentation while making it cleaner, stronger and unmistakably hers. It’s a win-win. ✨Confidence By Design✨™️ Contact or DM kms.fitness5280@gmail.com @kmsfitnessllc 🔸IFBB | NPC BOUTIQUE CONTEST PREP 🔸Private NPC | IFBB POSING FITMODEL | BIKINI | FIGURE | WELLNESS 🔸Corrective/Aesthetic posing 🔸Specializing in Presentations 🔸HAIROGRAPHY 🔸🌏Virtual Posing 🔸🌏Online coaching #posingcoach#IFBB#NPC#prepcoach#online

Novice NPC athlete @leeahnuh.k is crossing over from WP to Figure. It’s crunch time before she steps on stage to requalify for the National stage. I have to say Super fun session with lots of laughs.. let’s get to work In an NPC/IFBB Figure side quarter turn, both lats contribute, but they don’t present equally. The outside lat, the side exposed to the judges is the one you want visibly expressed/flared. That’s what helps create the width through the upper body and the taper into the waist. The inside lat should stay engaged, but I would not coach it as a hard, SYMMETRICAL flare. We are NOT trying to create a side FRONT POSE. Make sense? Over-flaring the inside lat can push the shoulder/arm forward, thicken the torso visually, and take away from the clean side silhouette. It is often an issue with girls who have poor mind muscle connect with their lats and keep them engaged so as not to lose them in transitions. Athlete should be able to control their lats through release and reengage in the mandatories. Think of it as: outside lat = displayed; inside lat controlled. The goal is width toward the judges without turning the quarter turn into a mini front lat spread. SAVE this for your next Figure posing practice. And send it to a Figure athlete who keeps trying to turn her quarter turn into a lat spread. 😉

We finally locked down her presentation. Certain power poses require STRUCTURE to create their full impact. If an athlete doesn’t have that structure yet, I redirect with VARIATIONS, MODIFICATIONS. Other OPTIONS. I build an alternative that creates the same visual impact while minimizing what’s missing. If we can NAIL THE OUTLINE through the athlete’s lines, we win. The traditional “PRETTY” pose? We modified it. This variation fits her personality far better while still staying true to the lines of Figure. I work with correctional officers, probation officers, cops, corporate headhunters. Wall Street financiers. Strong women. Sometimes “pretty” in the traditional sense simply doesn’t fit the woman standing in front of me. The presentation has to feel like HER. @sparkle2getfit has come SO far, and the biggest win? She finally feels comfortable and confident in her poses. ✨Confidence By Design✨™️ Contact or DM kms.fitness5280@gmail.com @kmsfitnessllc 🔸NPC/IFBB BOUTIQUE CONTEST PREP 🔸Private NPC/IFBB POSING FITMODEL/BIKINI/FIGURE/WELLNESS 🔸Corrective/Aesthetic posing 🔸Specializing in Presentations 🔸🌏Virtual Posing 🔸🌏Online coaching #posingcoach#IFBB#NPC#prepcoach#online

Looking back at prep videos during cardio this morning. This was one day out. And I have to be honest, I didn’t follow the plan for peak week. So my package on stage wasn’t what I know I can look like. But leading up to the show, this look was insane for me. Especially being that I prepped for 8 weeks. I’m not rushing back the stage. I’m gonna take time and put on size. And when I’m ready to prep again, my look on stage will be what I know it can be! #bodybuilding #classicphysique #fitness #explorepage

Attention WELLNESS ATHLETES. Stop 🛑 doing an exaggerated Teapot side pose. The Wellness side pose has EVOLVED. When the division first emerged, many athletes copied the look of Brazilian Wellness competitors without fully understanding what created the shape. The result was the familiar “TEAPOT” side pose. An exaggerated hip shift that often looked forced, disconnected and off center. Today’s Wellness side pose is far more REFINED. Rather than simply pushing the hip out, the shape is created through balanced alignment, controlled weight distribution, and a connected physique. The result is a side pose that feels natural, fluid, and highlights the lower body without sacrificing aesthetics. Wellness side pose doesn’t chase EXAGGERATED,manufactured shape. Build real size and have the MOBILITY to execute this pose correctly.
