On the day Kenny passed, just over a year ago, I couldn’t accept the terrible news as reality. For the entire day I was in denial and in a fog. There was a “Something in the Water” event at Cerritos library, a gathering of OG heads speaking on the history of hip-hop dancers in Cerritos. Kenny told me he was inspired by some of the very people that were there, so I decided to go because Kenny would told me “you have to go foo!”

On the drive over I gazed up at a magnificent sky. Something Kenny would have told me to pull over so he could capture it.

So I pulled over, appreciating the beauty of the sky, and appreciating how Kenny inspired me to appreciate these moments.

Love and miss you my good brother.

Congratulations to the La Mirada Junior League Baseball World Series Champions of 2026! Thank you for leaving Kenny Ong’s Legacy and placing him at the forefront of this celebration. It brought tears to our eyes and warmed our hearts especially for Nikko, Ryder, Nyah, Mama Bear, Tim, the rest of the family and his friends more like his brothers and sisters. Big ups to @ryderong and team you increased your capacity to sharpen your skills physically, mentally, and spiritually as evidenced by witnessing your hard work on game day. We are so proud of you and all the coaches, all the parents, and those who worked behind the scenes. #worldserieschampions #lamiradajuniorleaguebaseballworldserieschampions2026 #ryderong #jlb #worldseries

What a way to end a 10 year little league run as a kid from @la_mirada_little_league. So proud to have grown up in this league with these players and coaches and to represent all the way to the JLWS and bring it all home. I played with a dislocated finger but I wouldn’t trade this for anything 🙌🏆. #lmfamily #earnednotgiven #jobisdone #championsforever #espn @kennyong 🕊️
