✅ Nieuwe stator
✅ Nieuwe pickup sensor

How much a cheap DIY project really costs.. and I don't count hours, cause it's supposed to be fun 🕘

And now she found a new home! @jorenoffroad happy miles 🎉

This was fun, but there is another Suzuki in the back of the garage, waiting to be finished.. oh wait. There's two.

The goal is a well maintained bike for the trip, no loose ends.

But we only get there by more garage time, ánd yes a lot more talking about it 🔧

While preparing for the trip, i can't neglect the trusty Transalp.

New sparkplugs, airfilter, and a thorough clean of the carburettors really change the smoothness of the old V-Twin tractor.

Anyone got a higher score? 146.000+ kilometers. Yes, you read that right.

Still rolling strong. Most upgrades are by @goffi_workshop

Daily riding this week. Everyday adventures:

1. Commuting, really early till really late.
2. Spent more than some at the gasstation
3. Changed the airfilter (neccesary, you think?)
4. Lost a side panel, found a neat replacement
5. Got the last road salts off!
6. Bought a topbox from @twan_078

Fun weeks, more to come!

The bike ran, but not the way it should. At full throttle it hesitated.

The soot on the spark plug told me where to look:
fuel mixture way too rich.

Instead of rebuilding the carburettor, I found a solid replacement with the correct jetting — thanks to @jasperxsam for the part.

I enjoy figuring this out as I go.

One step closer.

Short video about a long ass afternoon. 🔧 Took me about two hours to get the clutch in, since you have to take off quite some parts. Also had a bit of puzzling to do 📚

All worth it, it now has that nice sharp bite again that you want from an adv bike, for multiple reasons 💥
