I call this lil sketch, “The Assistants”
—
Spent a fun week tooling around Washington State for a close friend’s wedding & met amazing glass artists there! I thought I was drawing the artist in residence here but actually these glass artists are working together with the artist @lonnieholleysuniverse to create a mixed media sculpture. Oops 😅

During my perusing of the Seattle Assembly Fair spectacular peace called “THE FLAT CIRCLE” By Glassblower Peter Hermanson @hermansson_p caught my eye. Made during his residency at the Museum of Glass, within two weeks time would be in full display at the Trevor Gallery during the inaugural Assembly Art Fair. Hardly alone, the team assembled Is fully deserving of complete praise for there beautifully choreographed waltz. I look forward to visiting you Peter. @bencobb_glass @gabefeenan_glass

It’s officially been one year for me at The Museum Of Glass! I’ve learned so many things and grew a lot as a glass blower, assistant, and just as a person. I’m very grateful for all the artists I’ve met so far and all the amazing work I got to be apart of! I’m even more grateful for the Mog team and all the patience show me and guidance they give me. They are truly some of the best teachers and friends in this glass life I’ve made. @gabefeenan_glass @bencobb_glass @crashkillbert @trentonquiocho_glass @nrdglass @gritcitycoldworks @museumofglass 1 year down hooray! Thanks everyone 😊
