What an absolutely incredible experience for our School and House Leaders to go behind the scenes at the Rugby League World Cup for the epic clash between the Australian Kangaroos and the New Zealand Kiwis! 🇦🇺🇳🇿

From seeing the dressing rooms and the players warm up, to walking out hand in hand with the Australian players, our students experienced something truly special. One of our very own even had the honour of being a flag bearer and proudly carrying the Australian flag! 💚💛

Singing the national anthem alongside the players, watching the iconic Haka from the sideline, and being right in the middle of the action made this an unforgettable night! 🎇

Our students should be SO proud of themselves and the way they represented our school. Experiences like these are what memories are made of, and this is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will be cherished forever 👏🏻

Forever inspired by our tamaiti on this book journey, especially when it’s our own little giant, Isaia, whose love of rugby league was interwoven throughout this next book 🫶🏾🏉 … Looking forward to celebrating the release of The Little Giant tomorrow with you son 🔥🙏🏾📚🌴🇼🇸✨

Teachers Information Night - Manly
Earlier in the year we held our inaugural event for teachers and schools to connect with the NRL and learn about opportunities for their students and themselves. A big thank you to @manlyseaeagles for allowing us to use their Centre Of Excellence with 4 Pines Park. Also a massive shoutout to our special guest Brad Takairangi for speaking about his experiences and connection to community through his work. We look forward to move events in the future.

NRL SCHOOLBOY CUP!

What an opportunity our open boys rugby league team have when they take the field next Wednesday!

Cronulla High School will play against 8th placed Peter Mulholland Cup team Illawarra Sports High School for a final place in this years Peter Mulholland Cup finals series. This competition consists of all of the elite rugby league schools in NSW.

A new pathway structure created this year allowed for us as a non-sports high school to possibly compete against the top schools in NSW. Our boys so far have made the most of every chance along the way to get to this point. A historic moment for not only these boys, but for the school and our Rugby League Excellence Program!

Date: Wednesday 29th July
Time: 11:30am kickoff
Venue: St Marys Leagues Stadium, North St Marys

We would love to see as many supporters there as possible. For those that can’t make it, it will be streamed on @kommunitytv. Additional details to come.
