Why do we colour sheep for sales? 🐑🤎

It’s all part of getting the boys sale ready! Colouring the fleece gives them a clean, even finish, enhances their natural bloom and helps present them at their very best when they head into the sale ring.

For our Builth boys, we’re using Jobson’s Biscuit Bloom, which gives them a lovely natural biscuit colour without being too over the top. We picked ours up from @chelfordfarmsupplies .

Basically… the sheep equivalent of a spray tan before a big night out 😂🤎

Next up: a second layer of tan, then their lot numbers stamped onto their backs, before the all-important photoshoot 📸🐑

The Builth prep is well and truly underway! 🔨✨
