Officially an Electrical Engineering graduate ⚡🎓

As a Black woman in engineering, this moment means everything. Black women make up only about 1.2% of engineers in the U.S., and I’m proud to be part of that number. 🤎

Thank you to National Society of Black Engineers, SWE, ETA Kappa NU, NSLS, my mentors, family, and friends for helping me get here.

What’s up, Region IV!

We’re excited to share our Crafts for a Cause recap from earlier this month! Over 40 NSBE members, representing 12+ collegiate and professional chapters across Michigan, came together for a day of service, fellowship, and community impact.
Together, we created:
🧸 8 fleece blankets for foster children at the Ennis Center for Children
💌 50 handwritten cards for seniors at the Thome Rivertown Center
🐶 87 dog toys made from recycled T-shirts for Detroit Dog Rescue
🪥 893 hygiene items collected for veterans experiencing homelessness for the Michigan Veterans Foundation
This day was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together, serving multiple Detroit-area communities while strengthening connections across the state. Thank you to every member who showed up, served with intention, and made this event a success.
Huge shoutout to our Michigan collegiate chapters, as well as the Detroit Professionals! We appreciate your commitment to service.
