Still not over graduation or the journey it took to get there.

I chose Loyola University because I felt connected to the energy there every time I would ride by. It got deeper as I met a rep from there while I was at Delgado (@delgadonola) while walking through the student union one day while I was on campus.

I chose Loyola knowing & feeling that it would be the time of my life. I had no idea that I would make new connections that would add to my positive experience in not only from my classes but from @nslsloyno & working at @loyola_maroon.

My time at Loyola surpassed all of my expectations. Through all of the late night study sessions, breaking my foot during Super Bowl week, chasing the Aces across the country F-Sun on their way to their third WNBA championship, doing my homework in airports, & doing assignments during lesson plan hour at work, it truly was all worth it.

I couldn’t have completed the journey without God giving me the play & the right people around me to complete this task. Shoutout to my advisor @im_laura_jayne for making sure I had what I needed to graduate on time. Lastly, shoutout to all the classmates that turned friends along the way.

Lesson: you’re truly never too old to do anything & I do mean ANYTHING!

Wolfpack out! 🐺🎓
