From my assistant! Volunteers Needed!! This Sunday on October 24th from 2-5pm there will be a Praise House Project Preview at South-View Cemetery. This preview will include a projection installation, music, performances, and a celebration in honor of the African American history of the City of Atlanta. There will also be guided tours to learn the history of Atlanta’s earliest African American cemetery where John Lewis and others now rest. This is where volunteers come in. Services include setting up prior to the event, directing guests, assisting with production, breaking down, etc. There will be 2 time slots from 12-4pm and from 2-6pm. If you are interested, please email tramey3@student.gsu.edu with your name, number, and preferred time slot. You will receive follow up instructions on where to meet followed by any other information pertaining to the event. Thank you Toi
