So grateful to have attended the Boys Town 35th Annual Impact Gala at the beautiful M Resort alongside some of our NSU Scorpions Women’s Flag Football superstars! 🦂🏈

It was a special evening honoring Mark Davis for his tremendous contributions and commitment to making a difference in our Nevada community.

What an amazing event for an even more amazing cause! It was a wonderful reminder of the power of giving back, lifting others up, and using our platforms to create meaningful change.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Paula Lawrence for inviting our NSU Scorpions to be part of such a special evening. We are grateful for the opportunity to show up, support, and be inspired by those who continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

Community. Connection. Impact. That’s what it’s all about! 💙🦂

🏈✨ From GAME DAY to GALA NIGHT! 💃🏽💙

Our NSU Women’s Flag Football student-athletes traded their jerseys and cleats for gowns and glam at the WISE Las Vegas Women of Inspiration Awards Gala! 💎

These young women are fierce competitors on the field and beautiful examples of confidence, strength, and grace off the field!

What an incredible opportunity for our Scorpions to dress up, show out, and be surrounded by inspiring women who are leading the way in sports, business, and our community.

Because being a student-athlete is about so much more than the game! 💙🦂

Building more than athletes. Building character, trust, and a culture of excellence! 🦂

I had the opportunity to spend some meaningful time with our NSU Track & Field student-athletes discussing the importance of reputation, character, being good teammates, and ultimately, how they want to be remembered.

I love conversations like these because they go far beyond athletics. They create space for honest dialogue, allow teammates to get to know one another on a deeper level, and help build the respect, trust, and accountability that are essential to a strong team culture.

One of the messages I wanted them to walk away with is that your reputation is what people think of you, but your character is who you truly are. Your actions, especially when no one is watching, ultimately define your legacy.

We are building something special at Nevada State University, and it’s going to take every one of us doing our part, holding ourselves and each other accountable, and understanding that the culture we create today will become the foundation for those who come after us.

Winning matters, but who we become along the way matters even more. 🦂💛

Great energy at the Henderson Chamber’s Ready, Set, Expo! at Lee’s Family Forum! 🦂

Nevada State University was proud to be in the building connecting with local businesses, community leaders, and organizations from across Southern Nevada. We loved seeing so many small businesses showcasing what they do and building new connections.

Events like this are a great reminder of the power of community, collaboration, and supporting local. Thank you to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce for bringing everyone together!

Last Friday marked Nevada State’s first ever hosted cross country event, the Duel in the Desert, co-hosted with CSN at Floyd Lamb Park. Our Scorpions lined up alongside CSN, UNLV, and Soka, and left everything out there. 💛🖤

A first for the program, and a lot more to come.

I have had the honor and pleasure being a Rebel, a Coyote and now a Scorpion! I must say it gives me a great sense of pride to see them all competing together. The Duel in the Desert was a fun way for these teams to come together at home and have their friends and family come and cheer them on. Let’s keep building opportunities for these young people. Thank you @csncoyotes for co-hosting. Thank you @jacob_kepler for these amazing photos! #NSHE #CrossCountry #NSU #CSN #UNLV Let’s keep this momentum going!!!!
