Victory is sweeter when it eludes us over and over #groundhogday after three straight #polevault meets missing 10 feet PR, ground hog day ended yesterday ironically on Groundhog Day lol And she jumped, 10, 10’3 and 10’6 beating her PR by a foot! @evapiscitelli @hb.trackandfield @hbathletics @ntaylorxlperformance @spire_institute_academy

Finally getting around to making this post. Had a blast in Reno this year reuniting with some @cornellvault family, @kitogarciarayburn and @barlypop33, bringing @ntaylorxlperformance and @therealapexvaulting in spirit as well.

Jumped 4.95m (16' 2.75") without any problems, 1st video. Then the bar went up to 5.15m (16' 10.75") and I started slamming into the box without jumping up much. The last 3 videos are great examples of what not to do if you're trying to decrease shoulder impact and avoid injury. These joints are only getting older 😕

Thanks for letting me use your poles and for recording these videos @kitogarciarayburn!

2022 High School Decathlon All-American - 6320 pts. These past four days were very competitive, stressful and fun. I just did my best and had fun, look where that got me. Nike Outdoor Nationals All-American. Thank you Dad, for everything you’ve done to help me achieve my dreams. Thank you also to Coach Taylor and everyone else who supported along my high school journey. 🏅🏅🏅#nikeoutdoornationals #hayward #allamerican #decathlon

Lengthy post coming up. This is not for the faint of heart. Most cardiothoracic residency programs match 2 people a year. And there are only a handful of programs in the country. James inspires me every. single. day. with the amount of time and energy he puts into his career. We’ve been together since the beginning - organic chemistry class in 2011. Since then there have been standardized tests, research in South Africa, research in Boston, medical school applications and interviews, moving to Cleveland, more classes/tests/research, clinicals, an away rotation, residency applications and 18 (!) interviews. All for this moment and his future as a heart surgeon. 8 years down and 6 (maybe more) years to go. James is far and above the most inspiring person I know. He is my everything, my whole heart ❤️#match2019
