Chiropractor Catherine was very pleased with her hardy RSPB volunteer troops who turned out in the freezing rain today to build 5 large brash piles at @ntcroome to improve habitat for nightingales. By the end of the afternoon they could knock one up in 30 minutes - team work makes the dream work! 💪

Va-va-Croome: The grand 18th-century masterpiece of landscape architect Lancelot "Capability" Brown, this parkland is managed by the National Trust. Along with the house, there is a lake, temples, an orangery and views aplenty.
