What are some of your favourite things you cannot live with throughout your day?

Not pictured: my obsession with Earl Grey tea and something to do with my job (both which I also love ♥️)

I love being barefoot! I grew up running around with bare feet until I got stung by a bee and found I was allergic. I’m a bit more careful on grass these days. I have extremely straight feet because I don’t wear shoes at home. Even though I love high heels and shoes in general, I’ll always prefer gumboots, jandals (flip flops/thongs) or having bare feet! Nothing better than cool grass, sandy beaches or stoney cold streams underneath bare feet.

I haven’t posted for months. End of year was crazy busy and time just slipped away - so Happy 2022!!! Even though it was cool and cloudy today, we’ve had some lovely sunny warm days. The hydrangeas are currently blooming. I particularly like this one. The flowers range from pale mauve to pink with tiny flowers.

With only 50 days to go until the Olympic Winter Games, the kākahu (cloak) named Te Mahutonga, which has been worn by every New Zealand Olympic team captain since 2004, was passed from the Olympic summer Team, represented by Lauren Bruce to the Olympic Winter Team represented by Martin Toomey. Also, @thenzteam received Te Taumata o Angitu, the pounamu pendants that will be gifted to all athletes and team members in Beijing. What a taonga and what a privilege to cover this special day!
