BY ISABEL POZO
@isabelpozol

“Threshold of Thought” is an impression of the illusion of safety and comfort that comes from certain artifacts. In this case, the “el sol” matchbox represents a memory of home. A play on words for living in a matchbox apartment in a metropolis, while having it become a safe-heaven.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Currently based in Berlin, Isabel Pozo navigates medium of illustration as an exploration of the influence of emotion in the formation of personality. Her use of graphic media provides her with the flexibility to investigate the expression and conceptualisation of ideas. Focalising internal and external stimuli, she finds herself in an ongoing journey of self discovery. Her work is born from the process and not necessarily as a result.
