I am SO excited to finally share a project we’ve been working on for months!! “Sounds Like Honey” is coming to vinyl! And because you know I had to do something special for my day ones, there will be TWO versions available. 🥹

I didn’t know it then, but the Illuminate show would become so much more than a project.
When the @create.art.together team invited me to lead and support the marketing and social efforts, I thought I was adding another creative milestone to my portfolio- something to check off and move forward from.

But somewhere between the late nights, the planning, the storytelling, and the energy of it all…something shifted.
This show rekindled a light I hadn’t felt in a long time.
A passion I thought had faded.
A joy in creating that I forgot how to feel.

Illuminate became a mirror- one that reminded me that the only thing standing in the way is the person staring back.
It pushed me to dream bigger, to create without hesitation, and to trust that even when the path feels uncertain… there’s magic waiting on the other side of courage.

This show was symbolic in more ways than I can count.
It was my first time ever walking in a show, and after months of coordinating every detail behind the scenes, I got to close the night wearing a piece from the Cadence Collection by @cathyolivarbrand .
At the time, I didn’t realize that moment would mark the closing of one chapter…and the beginning of another.
One that belongs entirely to me.

“Thank you” could never fully express what I feel for @cat_burton , the @create.art.together team, @specialk_artist , @cc.calhoun , @nuehuman , @cathyolivarbrand , and every new soul I got to connect with through this process. Your encouragement, guidance, and belief in me meant more than words can hold.🖤🤍

To my family, friends, and sisters who showed up in every way , from the calls, check-ins, dates, and happy hours, to the quiet reminders that I was doing enough, thank you. You helped me see something in myself I had forgotten was there.🫶🏽

And to myself-
I promise to make this next chapter worth it.
To stay open, curious, and brave.
Because this was only the beginning. ✨
