April 3, 2014 I got my world rally blue wrx hatch. Had no clue how much that car would change my life. How I even got the car is a crazy story I’ll tell on YouTube some day 🤪 It’s allowed me to travel half of the country many times over solo and with some of my best friends. Work with some very cool people. Build a career working for myself. Gotten me into doors that leveled up my life beyond measure. Learned about sponsorships and what it takes to truly build a car from the ground up. 9 month fight with @subaru_usa before the recall came out when my first motor blew. Learned about tuning and modifications from some of the best shops in San Diego, CA. Sadly after a full rebuild, rebuilt transmission, running e85, and all of the supporting goodies, I totaled it after sliding on a big ice patch. Went on one of my favorite road trips from CA > AZ > NM > CO > KS > MO. Just gotten a deal with a shop to shoot content and build their media up. Barely had 4k miles on the fresh rebuild and it all came crumbling down. Talk about heart break 💔 😭 and to total it back home in Kansas City was extremely ironic but life has a way of shaking you up! Now I’m in a 2014 STI hatch and although it’s an amazing car, I still think of how life would be with that built wrx The guys over at @vendetta_automotive are motivating me to do a light build on my sti, that’s also fresh with a new motor, turbo, oil cooler, and more after a cracked oil pickup tube decided it had other plans 😂 🤣 Thankfully @dylansmobileautorepair and @hgperformance took care of my STI and got me sorted before I packed my car and moved across the country to start a new life 🗺️ #stihatchback #subaru #hatchgang #wrx #sti #impreza #subie #subieflow
