We’re excited to share our new EP, “Alien City” out on October 30th, with the lead single “This Technician” out on Bandcamp NOW ! and on streaming platforms the first of the month (October). These tracks were made around the time of our summer New York takeover and are the largest amount of songs we’ve made in the same room since our first album. We will be showcasing the new material in November, live at @barfreda801 on Nov 1st with @cephalop0ds + @mothercabrinitheband and @cassettenyc with @jackcoltonclark + @youlovenej + @spoonuel on Nov 16th. I received a piece of mail the other day that shook me to the core. There was no writing on it, no return address or stamp. I opened it and while it was hard to read because the handwriting was terrible, I could barely make out the phrase "jasperewing should retire". While I think it's flattering that this individual, possibly several individuals, would think that I have the resources to retire at the ripe age of twenty two, I must admit that I think the message was more sinister. I am being urged to leave this all behind. Jasperewing famously has been a place of solace for many, similar to hospital or restaurant. What this empire represents cannot be left behind. While I hope that this message was left in the best interests of everyone on earth, I'm having a hard time believing that leaving my post for good would bring anything other than ruin. All of that to say, jasperewing will not be retiring anytime soon. This institution is here to stay, rain or shine.

What a gift it is to graduate alongside my best friends and such a talented group of artists 🥂
Thank you to everyone I’ve collaborated with over the years, everyone who’s helped me become the filmmaker I am today, everyone who’s supported me from afar. I have so much gratitude for the film department and everything it’s taught me. I couldn’t have asked for a better 4 years 💟
