Water is potentially one of the most powerful destructive forces of nature, but we can’t live without it.🌊

Say hi to our 7 finalists!

🎬 From a pool of 137 submissions received from around the globe in the past year, we have carefully selected 7 films to feature in our inaugural live event.

🎥 Throughout this year, we have been captivated by a multitude of exhilarating horror, sci-fi, action, fantasy, and thriller movies. However, these particular films possess an extra element that truly enamored us.

🍿In order of projection:

🍿The Awakening (Horror)
Directed by Andrew Abbiw
A patient suffering from insomnia seeks help from a sleep therapist to improve their way of life.

🍿The Tales From The Take (Action/Comedy)
Directed by Flynn Matthews, George Harry, Ollie Harry

🍿The Legend Of Rudy (Fantasy)
Directed by Ava Corder
A young knight embarks on a dangerous quest to defeat the Queen of Shadows, before his fantasy unravels.

🍿Eckotrigger Collide - The Music Video (Music Video)
Directed by Martin Petty

🍿Cover Your Ears (Horror)
Directed by Oskar Johansson
Every night, two sisters try to maintain their normal routines in an attempt to avoid the unknown.

🍿See The Sunrise (Sci-Fi)
Directed by Andy James Taylor
Two People form an unexpected bond who are from very different worlds.

🍿Parousia (Action)
Directed by Stefan Ruiz
In the not-too-distant future, Britain is an anarchic state where a pandemic has wiped out the younger generation. The only salvation is a vaccine called Parousia. However, its rations are controlled by the government who have decreed a one vaccine per family policy, unless you have the means to buy more.
Mia, a bereaved mother, leads a rebellion against the ruling forces and sets off on a heist to take back the vaccines for those in need. However, the mission is sabotaged by a series of events that take Mia and her troop by surprise. If Mia is to succeed on the battlefield, she must overcome the battle within herself.

🎫 Remember to book your free tickets at the link in bio! See you all this Thursday 8th of June, starting at 7pm UK TIME, at @whirledcinema in Brixton, London
