Did that really happen? I still don’t believe it.

TADHANA TOUR post PART 1.

Thank you @tobyssports @tobyclaudio | Andrea Tan l @lizetteclaudio

I was able to give multiple art works for @dwyanewade, have a little conversation and mention @wade_legacy.

I prepared custom art t shirts and caps and prints! I shared these too with the incredibly cool, humble and fun to talk friends I met that day. @firstnamekenny @thedonatosmith, lovely and im blessed for those conversations we had!

@chrisjohnsonhoops @corysmithhoops @blakemiller3 @melquicernias ( shout out to @dc7visuals , we forgot to take a pic and i couldn’t find u to give you your shirt, some other time!) so awesome fr. Short time but conversations were filled with good energy and wisdom

Im very honored, blessed and still in disbelief this all happened. I will never forget this. Thank you again @tobyclaudio @tobyssports

It all started with this guy @dylan3meyer believing in me as a person and artist 9 years ago. I was there during @dwyanewadeedits era! Way before Wade Legacy. I appreciate and love these people!

The fight against AI continues! Artwork for @aupax__ph @sampaguitaprojects

Ive said it before and ill say it again, AI is just the surface level of what these billionaires are presenting. AI was never for us. Never in our history that a billionaire was after own well being, pattern recognition will save you from further scams. Don’t be fooled. There is a bigger scheme behind all of this.

“IF THEY SAY WHY, WHY.
TELL EM THAT IS HUMAN NATURE”

If I were to time travel back in 1982 and MJ commissions me to work on the sleeve for Human Nature single. This is how’d attack it.

I see the similarities of all art mediums despite varying in material and organ senses involved. We all follow the same principles. And translating something you dont see but hear is an interesting process an individual can take.

Translating Human Nature made me think of night time, that soothing calmness. After all the record sounds exactly like that.

This is my favorite song from the whole Thriller album, my dad introduced me to MJ. The movie is so fantastic! I watched it more than 5 times. Took my dad’s urn with me because no way in hell i’d watch that movie without him.

As a creative, seeing MJ lock in just to make Thriller, makes you wonder, what kind of mental space he was in? That’s something I inspire to be.

Speaking of work ethic, 16 years after Thriller, MJ would inspire another legend that I look up to, Kobe. He gave him the book Jonathan Seagull and basically, it’s about questioning your limits and pushing it against the wall. Even if it costs you to get exiled from your own tribe.

I love my dad and I dedicate this painting somehow to his awesomeness. Thanks for introducing me to Michael’s music. Tho steve pocorro really did a great job writing this song for MJ and hella good decisions by Quincy Jones producing it!

This painting went thru series of stages and revisions over the month. One day it looks finished, the week after, it looks undone, a month later, something is missing. The process is funny.

Letting go of my Christian faith and dropping God away from my life had a lot to do with what I endured the past 2 years. 4 funerals (3 of those no one came), transactional friendships, having to “grind” just to have a community and my favorite, being invited to homes, to get prayed for then subsequently be made fun of me for being a “broke artist” with “no street cred” behind my back. I refuse to be a "Job".

That’s the tip of the iceberg.

Though the songwriter, Noel Gallagher would say he doesnt know what lyrics meant. Sure as hell knew what he was doing when he directly lifted the opening chord from John Lennon’s Imagine (the songwriter behind Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, the other piece i made for this show) and he was pretty upfront about it. Which i find cool, no pretentiousness. Pretty rock and roll.

In relation to the song, im at this point where I no longer submit to any authority nor be pressured by any “christian” obligations. You dont need religion to be a good person. I mean, i experienced Jesus more with the “lost” than with “believers.”

Still in the process of healing and forming my new identity (without any religious input.)

Whatever was filled with pain and anger, is now replaced with joy and excitement. I am living a new life, im going to write my own story. I find it better to suffer for my own actions than to suffer and be watched by mystical beings who did nothing. I no longer even recognize who I was 2 years ago. He’s a stranger.

In relation to Noel pinching Lennon’s chord structure, i let myself be inspired by W. Jumalon’s work in artcube. There some sooothing and dreamy about his brush work, choice of subject matter and even the colors. (Pictures attached at the end.)

There you go, an exploding vase, held on by tape, a bed, flower and an eye and piano keys.

Favor Men’s Camp was indeed an answered prayer and one of the best decisions I ever made this year. Met a lot of good people to talk, hangout, and play with during the 3 day trip. Made a lot of good memories both happy and funny at the same time. God is so good and I thank Him for giving me this lovely community of men. 💪

We are the 300!!! 👌
