What’s the plan when the plan falls apart?

You adapt. You take the risk. And when there’s too much at stake, you don’t back down.

In The Fix, a team of former CIA operatives finds itself caught in a high-risk mission where redemption comes at a price and every move could have serious consequences. With a dangerous rescue at the centre of it all, the line between a mission and a fight for survival gets thinner by the second.

The stakes are set. The mission is on.

I was genuinely so excited for the new The Mummy movie. You have no idea how excited I was. 🦂

I had previously created a few concept art illustrations for The Mummy 4, and when the official title of the movie was recently announced, my excitement only grew. So I decided to sit down and create a poster to capture that excitement.

For the poster, I wanted to put the Book of the Dead front and center. I wanted the book to look like a real, ancient object, with believable materials, textures, scratches, and details. I spent around 11 hours just working on the book to achieve the realistic texture and level of detail I wanted.

When the poster was finally finished, I was honestly really happy with how it turned out.

Then, after the newly announced cast was revealed, I saw that Michael Johnston, the lead actor from Obsession, was also joining the movie. That gave me a theory: I have a feeling that his character might be after the Book of the Dead in the film.

Of course, this is just my theory, but I decided to turn that idea into a concept art illustration. I gave his character a subtle mummy-like appearance and created a darker, mysterious design around that idea.

After that, I also decided to create a concept art illustration for Numan Acar’s character. I imagined him as a Medjay warrior, possibly as a companion or ally to Ardeth Bey. I also imagined his helmet and overall design in this way.

Throughout all of these artworks, one of my biggest priorities was realism. I spent a huge amount of time trying to make the characters, costumes, materials, textures, and details feel as if they could actually belong in a real The Mummy movie.

The poster and all of these illustrations took me approximately one week in total. I put a lot of time and effort into every single detail, and I’m really excited to finally share them with you.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. ❤️

And I’m getting very close to 5,000 followers!
Your support means so much to me, so don’t forget to follow! 🙏

What do you think? Could Michael Johnston’s character really be after the Book of the Dead? 🦂📖
