OF LEATHER & HERITAGE

Conceived by @nehalleheta and brought to life through The Sage Experience’s culinary direction, Of Leather & Heritage traces the enduring relationship between Egypt’s past and its present. Ancient materials, ancestral ingredients, and the art of making by hand informed a culinary journey where heritage was not simply referenced, but experienced. From curated pass-arounds to a sculptural dessert installation by @kesmat , inspired by @nunizcairo ‘s iconic leather bags, every detail carried the concept beyond its origins.

A celebration of what we inherit, what we create, and what we leave to endure.

A new chapter for @nunizcairo

From the story behind the leather to the symbols of Ancient Egypt woven into the space, the new flagship store at Park St. East brings Nuniz’s heritage into a contemporary world.

Rooted in Ancient Egypt and reimagined for today, the evening was a journey through the world of Nuniz and the beginning of what comes next.

Park St. Opening — Part Two. ❤️

This part had to be about the two people who took what was once an idea, a million conversations and a dream in our heads and turned it into the space we finally opened our doors to.

Nehal my one and only. ❤️
Where do I even start with you? You understood Nuniz, but more importantly, you understood me. You listened, challenged me, calmed me down, pushed the ideas further and cared about every tiny detail as much as I did. Somewhere during these two years, you became so much more than someone I work with. You became someone I genuinely love, trust and am incredibly grateful to have in my life. Your creativity is extraordinary, but your heart is what makes you truly special.

Karim what a man, what a personality, what a human being. ❤️
From our endless site visits and conversations to every problem we had to solve along the way, you somehow became family. I love your energy, your honesty, your passion and the way you bring life into everything you do. Thank you for believing in this project, for giving it so much of yourself and for somehow making me laugh even in the moments when I thought I was going to lose my mind.

Standing there with both of you on opening night was emotional.

Because I wasn’t just looking at a beautiful store. I was looking at two years of our lives.

Every drawing. Every change. Every disagreement. Every crazy idea. Every detail. Every stressful moment. Every laugh. Every “we’re almost there.”

And finally, we were there.

You didn’t just design a store for Nuniz. You helped us create a home that tells our story where we came from, who we are today and where we’re going next.

I love you both so much, and no matter how much Nuniz grows from here, you will forever be part of the story.

We did it. ❤️

PARK ST. OPENING — THE FINAL PART 🤍

One last post, because there were simply too many beautiful faces and moments not to share.

Looking back at all these pictures, what stays with me most isn’t only the store, the details or the opening itself — it’s the people.

Friends. Family. Clients. Partners. People who have been with us for years and people who have recently become part of our journey. So many of you showed up to celebrate this milestone with us, and that love and support is something I will never take for granted.

You filled our new home with exactly the energy we dreamed it would have.

So I’ll end this Park St. series the same way we began this new chapter: surrounded by people.

Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for celebrating us.
Thank you for believing in Nuniz.
And most importantly, thank you for being part of our story. 🤍

The opening chapter ends here.

Now the real Park St. story begins. ✨
