🚨 VIDEO DROP ALERT! 🚨

We’re super excited to release the marimba duo version of Tuscany by Michael Burritt this Friday! 🎶

This piece was commissioned by us in collaboration with Middleton HS (@lildougsmallets2). The piece exists as both a stand-alone marimba duet and a percussion ensemble version!

Shout out to #teampxd member @nunrml_ / @tyrustucker for capturing the sound and video! This is our 6th video project collaboration so far 🤯

We owe a huge thank you to @scifidrummergeek for the use of his beautiful MJB black marimba!

And thank you to @malletechofficial for making beautiful instruments and mallets and always supporting us.

CITY DREAMS live video is now on youtube!! wrote this one during a @school_of_song workshop with @kimbramusic in 2023, and the assignment was about breaking expectations. for me, that meant writing in the percussion studio for the first time instead of behind a guitar. the original demo is just me looping each individual drum part, and then finding the vibraphone riff on top of it. it was the perfect song to bring to @bridgepercussion + this was the first time I got to perform it in its intended arrangement :) HOPE YOU LOVE IT watch it stream it etc <3

We premiered “Scarlet Sea” by our friend @drglockenav through a co-commission project with Penn HS! @pennbands

And finally, we wrapped production on another @nunrml_ video, the duet version of “Tuscany” by @michael.burritt. Releasing later this month 😮

What’s next this summer?

Along with the release of “Tuscany,” we’ll also be dropping our first-ever EP, doing a fun giveaway with one of our favorite brands, and sharing plenty of other fun content.

IT’S HERE!!!! Our very first Tiny Desk Contest submission :’) this has been the biggest labor of love and I am endlessly grateful to everyone who made it happen. Shoutout to @_alexchao_ for texting me the day after our concert in July to ask if I was serious about doing a Tiny Desk video (I was), and to @bridgepercussion for agreeing to start 2026 with a couple of long rehearsals and a full day of recording. I am so proud of this project and am thrilled to be sharing it with all of you. This is my song, Letters from the Grave, arranged by @dmccomas152 and performed with @bridgepercussion (the most special collaboration I have ever known). LINK IN BIOOO
