Núr Moody releases her debut EP, Vanity, Enemy., back on September 4.

Written, recorded, and produced entirely by Núr from her bedroom in Barcelona, the five-track project moves between trip-hop, dub textures, Balearic influence, deconstructed club, and experimental pop. The title comes from Ottessa Moshfegh’s line “Vanity is the enemy,” and the record follows the emotional arc of infatuation: wanting someone, losing perspective, untangling ego from desire, and eventually reclaiming that energy.

“Back for More” opens with dark trip-hop tension and textured drums, while “I Slay” closes the EP with a more unapologetic experimental pop edge.
