WOW. Just WOW. The past two days (Thursday & Friday) — nearly 70 participants!! 🎉 I could never do this without this AMAZING team. We ROCK! 🙌 So much fun, so rewarding. And guess what? With my participants, I keep it 1000% real with them. I talk with them as if I were talking to my own kids, breaking down that cement wall by explaining where I came from, my struggles, and my achievements. I give them some laughs talking about hair, even taking my own clip-ins out of my head!😂 At that point, they realize, Okay, this lady is not that boring! I also give them some tasks to follow, making it fun at the same time. That’s the goal of our foundation: empowering them!

This is definitely one of my favorites 🤩 I was so excited to push my limits and try a style I haven’t tried before. Not only that but the cause behind the organization giving the glam has definitely motivated me as an individual. In my head “giving back to others” has left a lasting impression on me and my work as a hairdresser, it wakes me up every morning. So working with gtg was an amazing opportunity this year. ❤️‍🔥🙌🏾✨
