It’s been a long time since I last painted with my MTS crew and other old friends.

This time, we came together by the sea in Wenling to create a large-scale mural. The weather has been perfect lately—with the sea breeze, the rising and falling tides, and good friends painting side by side.

Moments like these are rare and truly precious.

Street art is where my photography journey began.

Long before I chased mountain sunrises, Tokyo nights or quiet temples, I was wandering side streets searching for murals that transformed ordinary buildings into something unforgettable. Every wall tells a story. Every artist leaves a piece of themselves behind for strangers to discover.

What I love most is the contrast. Concrete and colour. Chaos and creativity. A forgotten alley becoming an open-air gallery. It reminds me that beauty doesn’t always hang inside museums. Sometimes it’s painted onto the side of a building for anyone willing to look up.

Japan’s street art has a way of blending contemporary creativity with its urban landscape, turning everyday streets into places that invite you to slow down and explore. It’s where my love for finding art in unexpected places truly began, and it’s a passion that continues to shape the way I see the world through my lens.
